i love sample wednesdays

so i have this song that i found through Palms out Sounds from one of their sample Wednesdays posts.

it was the post for all of the samples Basement Jaxx used in their songs and there is one in particular i just can't stop listening to.
the guitar is fucking amazing, the singing isnt so great, nor is the chorus, but it is still worth listening to all the same.

anyway its the sample used for the song "Romeo," check it out:

Chic: "You Can't do it Alone"

and in case you were in a coma for a few months, Justice also sampled the song "Evereybody Dance" by the same band, Chic, in their rejected Fabric mix that was featured on Urb, which is a fucking brilliant disco track that'll keep your feet occupied. Trust me, if you haven't listened to it already you'll be glad as shit that you did:

Mix'n it up

Thank God, or whatever..chocolate bars if you like...FOR PODCASTS! I was just randomly searching for different podcast subscriptions the other day just as I have become tired with the ones I've been listening to for the past year, and I managed to stumble upon Adsum Music Show. There are only four episodes to his podcast, and they were all mixed in June, which is certainly unfortunate because it seems as though it will remain in having just the four episodes, but out of those four, there are two finger-snapping, fist-in-the-air-pumping JEWELS, of great Italo Disco mixes. One is an hour long, the other is only 10 minutes in length, but both are more than satisfactory in getting a party started.

I gots me a friend!

His name is Jerome. He and I practically share the exact taste in music, and are equally just as thrilled and excited when we hear any eurotrash, italo disco, 80-90's disco pop music.
We are like brothers, except he dresses a lot better than I do, and is a far better dancer than I am (Though we certainly make a good team when drunk off of plum wine and dancing in the living room to music that can be heard down the street, all at 3 in the morning).
Well to get to the point, this fantastico bloke Jerome is currently in Italy for his designer shoe company that he is starting up, and what does he do while he's there? Sends me a super great Italo Disco song by The Flirts. Of course, I should have seen it coming, thats how cool he is!
Good ol' Jerome, he never fails to pick out the best songs for me to listen to!
He should become president of the world, if he did he would make sure that everyone wear silver glitter dress up shoes (I am sure he could tell you more about that though so I am not going to explain).
